Your Accomodation - The Ottoman Palace Hotel - Adrasan

The base for your walking tour is The Ottoman Palace Hotel, a 12 bedroom, boutique hotel with very comfortable and well appointed rooms. The hotel is owned and run by Jon & Sue Graham, an English couple who have lived in Adrasan for over 7 years and have been visiting Turkey on holidays since 1985. Jon is a keen walker and has walked, marked and documented all the routes on offer, he also conducts some of the tours of the ancient cities and is very knowledgable about the historty and culture of the area.

The atmosphere is laid back and evenings are like dinner parties where good food, good wine and interesting company are the order of the day. The most common comment from customers is that staying at the Ottoman Palace is like staying in somebody’s home rather than in a hotel.

The accomodation is a half board package (Bed, breakfast and evening meal) and includes a meal out at the mountain fish farm restaurant at Ulupınar, where you will find some of the best food in the region.

There is an extensive menu to choose from and some excellent vegetarian specialities.

This is a comfortable and relaxing base where you can reflect on the walks you have done and plan the coming day’s itinerary, with plenty of advice and ideas from Jon to make sure you get the most out of your time in Turkey.
